From the Shadhiliyya Sufi Communities (SSC) Board of Directors:
Please join us for our second International Unity Prayer Call, praying for our sheikh, our tariqa, murshids, teachers, communities, beloveds and for our world. Come and join our hearts to be One in Allah and to strengthen us to carry His message of Peace, Love, Mercy, Justice and Freedom to the world.
Our first call in November was deeply nourishing - so much so that we had a hard time tearing ourselves away, even the beloveds in England where it was well after midnight! Even across many time zones we felt the love of our guide and the love of our brothers and sisters, which flows from our beloved Allah.
It was beautiful to experience first hand how our ummah (community of believers) includes more than just the US! Sidi's beloveds are also in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, as well as in Canada, Europe, Israel, Japan and El Salvador! We are one ummah of Sidi’s students, and we invite everyone to join us in praying for our whole community.
We cannot duplicate how Sidi held all our hearts as one, but in coming together as an international community, inshallah we can receive what our hearts need from Allah and experience His Unity.
Rahima Noemi Fiamingo of Argentina sharing her experience of our first call:
"I felt for the second time in my life that I belonged to a "body". The first time was with Sidi via Skype, and now it felt even deeper. A real and tangible body of beloveds. Even if I was smaller than the little toe nail, I belonged to something greater. It gave me sense of sacredeness in my heart. A deep sense of belonging. Of unity and sharing of hearts. It was very blessed! And this blessed feeling accompanies me now every time I humbly intend to give the message. Al hamdulillah!"
A note from our beloved sister Rauda in Argentina about the original inspiration for this call:
“Sidi held us so beautifully and lovingly in the inner and the outer. While I feel him still holding us in the inner, my heart also yearns for all of us to step forward and act in the outer to unite all of our communities around the world in a deep heartfelt prayer for unity, love, trust, mercy, justice, freedom and support for all of our hearts, souls and spirits.”
