Class Description
Adab is the soul’s refinement, the invisible fragrance of true faith.
It is not only good manners, but the art of living beautifully, ihsan, in every moment.
Adab with Allah means worship and presence, knowing when to speak, when to listen, and when to bow in silence before His Majesty.
Adab with ourselves is to walk gently within, to listen to the whispers of the heart, to honor the body that carries our prayers, and to forgive our own stumbles as lessons in becoming.
To learn adab with others is to see beyond the surface, to look at people not as distractions or burdens, but as mirrors through which Allah teaches patience, compassion, wisdom and humility.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the living embodiment of Adab.
He taught us that Adab is not a book of rules, but a fragrance of the heart that perfumes every action.
With himself, he showed humility even in greatness, with others, he was mercy made visible.
He listened longer than he spoke, forgave quicker than he was wronged, and smiled even when sorrow weighed on him.
With Allah, he was the most perfect in presence, awake in the night while others slept, his forehead pressed to the earth, his soul lost in love, yet found in surrender.
The Prophet ﷺ taught us that true Adab is to place everything in its right place: the self beneath the truth, the heart beneath the throne of mercy and life itself beneath the gaze of Allah.
Whoever walks in his footsteps learns the finest art of being: to live gently, to love purely, and to be in every moment as if standing before the Divine.
Join us to explore these understandings and discover what is needed to perfect your adab, insha’allah.
