The General Assistance Community Grant

Receive the support you need to impact your community!

The General Assistance Community Grant provides one-off financial support for unique requests that fall outside the scope of our regular programs, such as the Ash-Shakur Fund or the Scholarship Fund. These discretionary awards are reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis by the board. We invite you to submit an application so we can consider supporting your specific needs.

Application and Review Process

All applicants will submit an application, outlined below.
Grant applications will be reviewed by a committee of volunteer reviewers.
In some cases, clarifications may be requested by the reviewing committee.
Once an application has been reviewed, the results will be communicated to the applicant, along with next steps.
Applicants who have been awarded a grant must provide a final report outlining exactly how the award was used and the impact the project had on their community.
