About Fawzia
Sidi loved and supported his spiritual daughter Fawzia, and he always encouraged his students to take her workshops and purchase her books. Many people within our community have studied with her and found her teachings to be rich and full of spiritual depth and wisdom.
Fawzia earned a Ph.D. in Islamic studies and has been teaching Sufism for over 20 years. She holds workshops in various countries and works deeply with women. She offers workshops in dancing, meditation, breathing techniques, traditional Sufi-practices such as: dhikr, whirling, or working with the Divine Names. All of her workshops focus on opening the heart, connecting body, soul and spirit.
Fawzia has also published several books in Arabic, German, English and French.

The House of Peace
Fawzia envisioned a place where people could come, especially women, to find stability and inner and outer peace while advancing on their spiritual path. She saw this place as offering people the opportunity to be in retreat or to meet others. In 2006 the House of Peace was born, along with the non-profit organization SAFA.
They welcome donations to support the work of their association SAFA and the House of Peace. All donations go to the poor in Austria through Fawzia’s Nonprofit organization SAFA. Donations accepted via Paypal: haus-des-friedens.at
