In this series, we follow the story of the Prophet’s Night Journey and Ascension (Isra’ wal-Mi’raj) step-by-step from beginning to end as he unfolds the secrets of the holy places, the barzakh (interspace between this life and the Next), each of the seven heavens, and the Fire and the Garden of Allah, until arriving into the Divine Presence at the Lote Tree of Utmost Boundary–two bows-lengths from Allah, the Exalted. On his traveles he meets shayatin, disbelievers, believers, prophets, messengers, angels, and Allah Himself, Glorious is He.
Our guide on this Caravan of Secrets is the great contemporary Master of Spirituality and Hadith, Shaykh As-Sayyid Muhammad ibn ‘Alawi al-Maliki’s text The Coallated Hadith of Isra’ and Miraj. Join Said Bin Yunus and beloveds as we read a few pages each night of this holy month.
