Drink deeply and receive...
Cornerstones of the Heart Series
Listening with Empathy
Listening deeply to the heart of another is a precious skill that can be deepened over time. Often we are listening but not really listening, present in the body but distracted in the mind. We might be busy thinking of what we want to say next or the advice we want to give. In this class we will explore how to move more deeply into a deeper state of listening. We will also explore how to offer empathy to let others know that we are listening, as well as common “empathy blockers” that may reduce the quality of our connection with others.
Class Schedule
Note: The two classes will cover the same topic. You are encouraged to attend as many classes on each topic as you can. Repetition is purposefully built into the program to support your complete integration of the material.
