Purify how you embody and use Power
In this class we will dive more deeply into the difference between personal power born of the commanding nafs vs personal power which originates in a connection with Universal Power.
Using several different Divine Names, we hope to find the places where we are more “down capacity,” and in receiving the light of the Qualities, experience a shift to feeling more “up capacity,” in sha’ Allah. We will work with Al-‘Aziz, as-Sabur, al-Hayy, and al-Mu’izz among others.
When we are more firmly rooted in our personal power, we can navigate power differentials with more awareness, strength, presence, and clarity.
Join us!
Each class will be repeated twice, once on a Thursday morning and again 2 weeks later on a Tuesday evening.

Being with those closest to us…
The relationships we have with those closest to us–our spouse, children, and parents–are based in a holy love, a love that is given and blessed by Allah, Most High. While that love is at the core of these relationships, we also experience the challenge of having a lower ego (nafs). The nafs sees the world through its own lens and is constantly urging us to fulfill its desires while reminding us of past traumas. Without a deeper understanding of the Divine purpose of marriage and family, the nafs will lead us into irreconcilable misunderstandings and conflict.
This series is comprised of 7 classes designed to help us transcend the challenges inherent in these close personal relationships. Using a variety of teaching methods, each class will help you to gain a deeper understanding of its topic, leading to healthier and happier relationships with your spouse, children, and parents, insha’allah.

First 10 Days of Dhul Hijjah
Hajj & The Day of `Arafah
The Best Days of the Year!
The Month of the Pilgrimage, Dhul Hijjah, is the final month in the lunar calendar. This month is full of immense blessings and spiritual opportunities and as one of the four sacred months, the importance of Dhul Hijjah cannot be overstated. The jewel of this month is the observation of one of the 5 pillars of Islam: The Pilgrimage (Hajj).
Without exception, these are the best days of the year, comparable to the last 10 nights of Ramadan. Our beloved Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“There are no days greater and more beloved to Allah than these [first] 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, so increase your declaration of la ‘ilaha illa-llah, your exaltation of Him, and your praise of Him” (Reported by Ibn Umar, Musnad Aḥmad 5446).
Teachings on Hajj
We have one teaching per day during the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah at 11:00 am – 12:30 pm PT / 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm ET. Register just once for the entire series. We hope to see you there!

Make a difficult time a little easier
After we pass away, we rely on our families and closest companions to prepare our bodies for burial and organize our funeral arrangements. This is often a challenging time, full of grief and overwhelm.
In order to create as much ease for our loved ones as possible, and to ensure our bodies are prepared and buried in the manner prescribed by our Path, it is extremely beneficial to have a written will that includes our final burial instructions. Learn how to craft burial and funeral instructions to be included in your written will, and much more. Read more
