There are a number of Sufi paths out there. One of the things makes the Shadhiliyya Sufi path different is its strong emphasis on healing. Many licensed healthcare practitioners, as well as those who use Reiki and other forms of bodywork and energy work, are drawn to this path.
We Are Healers of Ourselves and Others
Those drawn to our path are seeking healing for more than the physical body, which you can find in most faiths. As a group we are seeking healing of the mind, heart, and spirit, as well. This healing focuses on clearing up our old wounds, misconceptions, and emotional roadblocks that obstruct our ability to experience real peace, contentment, and love in our whole being. This is a healing that helps us move past our smallness and into our full, authentic wholeness. It’s a healing that helps us break free of our old habits, and step into a life of purpose, meaning, and holiness.
Our guide Sidi has given us numerous books on how to use natural remedies for all aspects of healing and many prophetic healing prayers combined with sacred energetic healing methods. Sidi founded our University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism where his students learn about spiritual healing that is based on the sacred knowledge of prophetic medicine, which has been handed down through the long lineage of this way. It is this combination of spiritual healing, gnosis (gaining spiritual wisdom through experiencing it), and sacred teachings that make this path a complete path. A complete path that includes a guide, a map, a compass, practices, community support, and a first-aid kit for body, mind and heart.
What Our Beloveds Say
