A Monthly 24-Hour Retreat with Imam Said Bin Yunus
“Remember Me and I will remember you.”
We would like to announce a new monthly retreat for enlivening the spirit during these times of expanding darkness. This 24-hour retreat is intended to help us absent ourselves from the activities of creation by attaching ourselvs to abundant remembrance of the Creator, insha’allah amin.
Sidi Muhammad al-Jamal (may Allah have mercy upon him) directly intiated Said Bin Yunus and asked him to offer this special form of retreat when he served the SSC zawiyya in California. At this time, he is offering it once a month on Saturdays for those who wish to dive deeply into the remembrance of our Lord.
General Dates: The first Saturday every month, from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday
Facilitator: Said Bin Yunus
Optional Meetings: There are 3 optional group check-in during each weekend: 1 on Fri at sunset, 1 on Sat morning, and 1 on Sat at sunset. The zoom info for these check-ins will be emailed to you when you register and a reminder will be sent before the weekend begins. The check-ins will not be recorded.
