Asalaam Alaikum, my question is regarding “hexes”. My daughter and I had a recent discussion about a video we saw where a woman’s health issues stemmed from someone taking her picture and casting a “hex” on it thus effecting her health. As I tried to explain how this probably isn’t possible I rabbit trailed into talking about root issues and lineage problems, then I confused myself and decided I’d better ask someone who knows more. The more you and your daughter believe in the effect of the hex, think about it and discuss it the more its effects will be. The more you and your daughter pray for protection and have certainty that Allah is Powerful above everything, the more she will be protected.
