To increase our knowledge of Him and our surrender in awe to Him.

Transform Your Stories to Embrace Truth and Freedom
An 8-week teaching series sponsored by The Jami' Initiative for Peace, Love, and Reconciliation
Class #1: What Do We Mean by "Story"?
The stories we tell ourselves about what happened to us, and the meanings we assign to them often shape what we experience in our daily lives. Together we will begin to explore our stories, our traumas, and the ways they impact us. Through Allah, we will begin to look beyond them in order to shift the power they have over us.
In this first class we introduce the theme of the series, provide a brief overview of the ground we plan to cover, and discuss why it’s essential to move beyond our stories.
